What else is on the circuit
The heater is the hungriest part of an electric fireplace. The IgniteXL manual rates that model at 1,500 watts on 120 volts, recommends a dedicated, properly fused 15-amp circuit and warns that other appliances on the same circuit may exceed the breaker's rating.
